A group from Indian Institute of Technology (IITH) visited our faculties on Friday, December 2.
This visit was to conclude the academic exchange agreement between IITH, and Graduate School and School of Engineering, Graduate School of Information Science and Technology, and Graduate School of Chemical Sciences and Engineering, Hokkaido University.
The agreement was signed by Prof. U B Desai, Director of IITH and three Deans: Dean Nawa, Dean Miyanaga, and Dean Ohkuma. This is our first agreement signed with a school in India.
A brief introduction of each school was presented by Prof. Desai and Prof. Osamu Fujita, from International Exchange Office. Then, the Deans introduced each graduate school after the signing ceremony. e3 English Engineering Education program was also introduced at this occasion.
Following the ceremony, they stopped at High Voltage Electron Microscope Laboratory and Research Center for Integrated Quantum Electronics.
IITH was established in 2008 supported by the Japanese government and JICA. It is one of the 23 institutes of IIT.
