Two guests: Mr. Ivica Kolaric, Head of Business Unit Automotive, Head of Department Functional Materials, Head of Fraunhofer OPER and Mr. Carsten Glanz, Group Leader Application of functional materials made a courtesy visit to Dean Nawa on Monday, January 25th. Prof. Toshifumi IGARASHI Director at International Exchange Office and Specially-appointed Prof. Toru YAMASHITA, CEED gave short presentations about Faculty of Engineering and internship program. Mr. Kolaric also also gave us a short presentation about the activities of Fraunhofer. We had an exciting discussion about future academic exchange.
NPO法人 アジアの留学生等を応援する会 (NPO the Supporter for International Students from Asian Countries) has arranged another event for Asian students studying at universities in Sapporo. This is a good opportunity to interact with elementary school students. The trip also includes visiting museum and aquarium such as Otaru aquarium.
