These guidelines shall prescribe necessary matters regarding the acceptance of overseas visiting research fellows who wish to be engaged in research in the Hokkaido University Faculty of Engineering (hereinafter referred to as the “Faculty”). Procedures Pertaining to the Conclusion and Renewal of the Exchange Agreement between Departments

(Confirmed by the Operation Conference, School of Engineering, October 5, 2005) When the Faculty of Engineering, the Graduate School of Engineering, and the Graduate School of Information Science and Technology conclude and renew the exchange agreement between departments, the head of the educational research organization shall sign the agreement after discussion by the deliberative bodies prescribed in the bylaws of the individual organizational operations. Agreement on International Exchange Arrangements

Effective as of April 1, 1997 When wishing to conclude an exchange agreement between universities or faculties/graduate schools (including schools), and only when agreement between multiple departments or divisions is reached, a proposal can be made to the Director of the Faculty and the Director of the Graduate School. When a proposal is made pursuant to the preceding Item 1, the Director of the Faculty and the Director of the Graduate School shall consult with the International Exchange Office, and then with the Board of Representatives in accordance with the report of the Office.
