The Welcome Reception for Newly-enrolled Int’l Students

International Affairs Office of Engineering threw a reception party on Friday, November 10 for the new international students. 125 students from the three different engineering-related faculties (Faculty, Graduate School and School of Engineering/ Chemical Sciences & Engineering/ Information Science & Technology) participated and enjoyed the varieties of foods including sushi and halal dish. Their supervisors and some Deans also participated in this party. Not only savory dishes, participants enjoyed live music played by the band called “Asterism”. Assoc.Dean Prof. Jaewon Chung and 9 administrative staff from the College of Engineering, Korea University visited the Faculty of Engineering, Hokkaido University on Friday June 23. Prof. Yukinori Kobayashi (Dean of the  Graduate School of Engineering) welcomed the delegation.
