Another Visit from Macquarie University, Australia

Faculty, Graduate School, and School of Engineering welcomed another visit from Macquarie University, Australia. It was their third time to visit Hokkaido University this year. In addition to  Prof. Eryk Dutkiwicz, Professor in Wireless Communication and Ms. Yoko Kaitani, International Country Manager- Pacific, who previously visited us in spring, Prof. Michael Heimlich, Associate Dean, International and Corporate Engagement, Faculty of Science and Engineering  also joined the meeting this time.

From Hokkaido Univeristy, Prof. Toshifumi IGARASHI Director at International Exchange Office, Ms Natalya SHMAKOVA, e3 program coordinator provided brief information of Hokkaido University and Engineering education. Specially-appointed Prof. Toru YAMASHITA, CEED  gave short presentations about Faculty of Engineering and each program. Prof. Toshiro OHASHI,Division of Human Mechanical Systems and Design also actively involved in the discussion.

Macquarie University was drawn to Hokkaido’s beautiful four seasons and inexpensive living cost. Discussion was successfully ended and we are moving a step closer to future academic exchange.
