The Hokkaido Youth Foundation for Science and Culture is pleased to announce ‘The 37th Sapporo International Night – Let’s Pass on Good Traditional Culture in Japan to the World and the Future!’ on Sunday 14 December 2014.  This annual international event started in 1979, around the time of well-known Sapporo Snow Festival as a social gathering for foreigners living in Sapporo, both local and overseas students and youth to collect more than 350 participants from 20 something countries and regions.

Having Dr Ichiro UYEDA HU Vice President as the chairman, this year’s one day event will try to pull down the barrier between Japan and other countries even for a little bit – by mutual understanding gained through a special lecture by Princess Akiko of Mikasa, group discussion and friendly party.
