It is common for high school/polytechnic graduates in Singapore to continue their higher education programmes in English-speaking countries, and there are a number of institutions in that sort of countries collaborating with educational programmes in Singapore to receive candidates for undergraduate courses.  This NYP visit can be an opportunity to let their aspiring students not only to develop their international and cultural awareness in Japan, but also to learn the function of Japanese institutions and consider Japan as one of their possible academic destinations.

NYP visitors received a brief introduction about School of Engineering, the undergraduate courses in Engineering, e3 postgraduate programmes taught fully in English, CEED Centre for Engineering Education Development, and then, toured around newly-opened Suzuki Hall, the statue of Dr William S. Clark the founder of Sapporo Agricultural College (ex-HU) and University Museum.
