Research

Our research interests are as follows

  1. Proton-conducting novel amorphous oxide nanofilms and their applications for next generation fuel cells
  2. Self-organized porous anodic oxide films: tailoring of new formation process, understanding of formation mechanism and applications
  3. Barrier-type anodic oxide films on valve metal alloys: correlation between composition, structure and properties of oxides
  4. Plasma electrolytic oxidation of light metals for wear- and corrosion-resistant coatings
  5. Synthesis of nanomaterials using porous anodic alumina template
