GUIDELINE FOR SPEAKERS

ORAL PRESENTATION

Presentation Time:
Each presentation is allocated 15 minutes (10 minutes for talk and 5 minutes for discussion).

Presentation Format:
Speakers are required to bring their own PCs to the session rooms.
A VGA 15 pin connector cable will be available in each session room.
*Please be aware that presenters will be responsible for bringing their own VGA converter cables if required.
Please check your presentation contents (movies, animations, etc.) at the session room in advance.

POSTER PRESENTATION

Poster presentation will be held in the afternoon of 17 and 18 September and has two parts: short oral presentation for 3 minutes followed by poster presentation with viewing and discussion for 1 h.

1. SHORT ORAL PRESENTATION

Each poster presenter will have 3 minutes in the poster short presentation session.

Presentation Format:
The authors of each poster should prepare a 3-min PowerPoint presentation (PowerPoint 2010) for the short presentation session. No questions or discussion is planned during the short presentation session.
Please note the following:
a. The maximum file size is limited to 3MB.
b. No movie is allowed.
c. File name should be “(Poster number)-(Family name).ppt/pptx”. Parentheses should be removed. Poster number is listed in the program, which will be available at http://labs.eng.hokudai.ac.jp/labo/apbiomech2015/?page_id=78.
d. The presentation file should be uploaded to the website,
http://labs.eng.hokudai.ac.jp/labo/apbiomech2015/?page_id=552no later than 13 September 2015.

2. POSTER PRESENTATION WITH VIEWING AND DISCUSSION

Presentation Dates:
PS1 – PS4: Thursday, 17 September: 17:00-18:00
PS5 – PS8: Friday, 18 September: 17:00-18:00

Presentation Format:
a. The size of the panel is 900 mm (W) × 2000 mm (H).
b. The maximum poster size is A0 (841 mm (W) × 1189 mm (H)).
c. Posters can be set up from 8:30 of your scheduled date.
d. Posters MUST be removed by 18:00 in the evening of your scheduled date.
e. Any poster remaining after the assigned take down period will be removed by the organizers.
