  Laboratory of Structural Safety Engineering for Infrastructures belongs to Research group of natural disasters and adaptation in Department of Civil Engineering, Hokkaido University Japan. We work on, in cooperation with the companies and research institutions have a challenging sprit, prediction method, assessment method, and remedial measure technology on safety and stability for both newly constructed and existing concrete structures, such as dams, bridges, underground structures, and also facilities.
  We contribute to building a sustainable society through the developing technologies, with the multiple viewpoints of material, design, and maintenance, related to providing infrastructure which contains sufficient strength, beauty, and durability.
