Laboratory of Advanced High Temperature Materials

In the Advanced High-Temperature Materials Laboratory, two main subjects are extensively conducted with close relation each other: development of the oxide dispersion strengthened (ODS) alloys with extremely high-temperature strength and development of oxidation resistance alloys and coating with a long life and reliability.
These researches are conducted on the basis of the fundamentals of materials science and engineering, such as nano-meso structure, thermodynamics, mechanical strength.
We are aiming at development of the advanced high-temperature energy materials to realize the future high-performance energy system.
